It's official! We are having a baby girl! We had a sweet experience with a priesthood blessing back at the end of May. A friend offered to give me a blessing because of how sick I was with this pregnancy. He came to our home and offered the most special blessing. We were told that this baby was to come to our family at this time. That all would go well. And a few other things. Then he said that the Lord wanted to grant me my hearts desire. As most of you know the biggest desire I've had is to have a daughter. I started crying then. The spirit was so strong. He then paused and with tears and emotion in his voice, he said that "she will be a great joy and blessing to our family." I was so overcome with emotion! It was just such a neat experience. And now it is official. We are finally having our baby daughter and we cannot wait for her to get here!!

Well look who I found! This is Karen Ray from Goodyear who is now living in the Vancouver, Washington area. Congrats on the baby girl. You are going to love it! Though, honestly, I would perfer a boy...less drama.
I miss playing volleyball with you. Volleyball is crazy up here. I have the opportunity to play every weekday and almost every evening if I wanted to. Of course that would be too much, if you can believe it.
