Well, we thought we would be sooo smart this year by making a hoop house for our garden since our growing season is so short.  So we spent the money on the materials and put it together.  Then, I finally got the seedlings planted.  We were so excited!  But, the very next day, a huge wind storm came through.  It is pretty typical where we live.  Unfortunately, the plastic was ripped pretty bad and most everything died.  So, I started seeds again.  We made some adjustments to the greenhouse frame, stapled the plastic on to the boards.  We planted again several weeks later to no avail.  Everything died.  We just couldn't figure out how to keep the cold air out from the bottom.  So, needless to say, for the first time in 4 years, we don't have a summer garden!
